Good news for the youth of Gujarat: The government has observed that employees are retiring without any new appointments in many departments. Due to this the workload on those departments has increased. Consequently, the government has decided to start the recruitment process.
Good news awaits the youth of Gujarat as the government has announced a massive recruitment drive for government jobs in 2023. An exam will be conducted for this purpose, making it the biggest recruitment test of its kind.
Gujarat Recruitment meetings are being held
A huge commitment of appointments has led to an intense round of meetings. In which the General Administration Department and the Finance Department discussed the matter. Besides this, meetings have been held from June to August to resolve the issue of job vacancies. The state government has completed a decade-long recruitment calendar process, the biggest recruitment test ever, which is scheduled for the next decade till 2033.
Staff reduction in many departments
Many government departments have seen the retirement of employees without any new recruitment. As a result, the workload in these departments has increased, forcing the government to start the recruitment process. The Panchayat Department of the state government is currently facing an acute shortage of personnel due to which the Gujarat government will start direct recruitment to fill ten thousand vacancies in the department during the next two years.

The Gujarat government conducted multiple exams in May and will be conducting more exams in June 2023 for a total of 15 posts. The exam will be held in July at 19 different places.

- There will be an exam for a total of 6 available posts in August.
- A total of 14 different examinations will be conducted in September.
- A total of 14 different examinations will be conducted in October.
- A total of 7 exams will be organized by GPSC in November.
- A total of 13 examinations will be conducted by GPSC in December.
